Anne-Marie Syme,
Founder and Major Shareholder
Anne-Marie Syme formed her own company, The Loans Cafe, in 1999 after considerable success in senior executive roles for 2 major WA Mortgage Broking enterprises. Anne-Marie is a past WA president of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA)...the Premier body overseeing the Mortgage broking industry in Australia Anne-Marie was also a member of the Western Australian Regional Liaison Committee of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Anne-Marie insists on high standard of professionalism from all her staff and maintains customer satisfaction as her prime priority. This culture is reinforced throughout The Loans Cafe team to ensure its high standing in WA is maintained.
She is a former judge for the Telstra Business Women of the Year Award project, Chair of the aggregation company Finance & Systems Technology (FAST) and sits on the boards of several listed and unlisted Australian Enterprises.
Anne-Marie was recently awarded "The Most inspirational Business leader of the year" in the Momentum Womens Forum awards.
Murray Brede,
General Manager
Murray Brede joined The Loans Cafe after an 18 year career in senior sales roles at Telstra. He brings with him a wealth of experience in sales and customer relationship management, corporate compliance and high level contract negotiation. Murray is a strong believer in continuous education and excellence in customer service.
Murray holds tertiary qualifications, is a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA)and was recently accepted as a senior associate at both the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance ( Now FINSIA) and the WA institute of financial services.
Ashley Pemberton,
Regional Manager
Ashley's has extensive banking and lending experience gained in a 16 year career with Westpac Banking Corporation. He provides you with a competitive edge in mortgage origination, investment and commercial lending with his sound knowledge of processes from finance application through to settlement.
Ashley was the leading writer of loan business with several other Home Loan companies, and brings with him a wealth of industry experience and lending knowledge.
David Stannard Brown,
Manager - Training & Compliance
David's extensive lending expertise was gained at the ANZ Banking Corporation in a 13 year career where he held several key positions.
In his role as Training and Compliance Manager, David is responsible for the comprehensive training of our personnel in all aspects of the industry Code of Practice, Finance Brokers Supervisory Board requirements and for ensuring that Area Managers comply with the 'Continuous Professional Development' criteria of the MFAA.
