Our History

Loanscorp Australasia Pty Ltd, trading as The Loans Café was established in December 1998. Having secured our first premises on the ground floor, 197 Adelaide Terrace in Perth enabled the group to enjoy a high profile 'street frontage' retail presence - an "Australian First" for the mortgage broking industry.

In July 2003, The Loans Café in Fremantle was opened and provides services to the residents of not only Fremantle, but also Perth's most southern suburbs.

Our most recent branch opening was in 2006. Albert Park in Melbourne was specifically chosen as our unique café concept suits both the location and demographic.

The Loans Café offers a friendly and unique service where the consumer is able to gather information on various loan packages from a comprehensive selection of financial institutions in a relaxed atmosphere.

Should our clients wish to speak to a lending professional, our experienced personnel are on site to offer assistance upon request - without obligation. The café also offers a selection of books and industry specific information, which can be borrowed at any time. You can even do some Online banking which can be accessed at our cafes or find answers to you questions on our website. The Loans Cafe's website won the highly sought after "Best Internet Presence" award for the finance broking industry in 2005 against substantial competition.

In late 2008 the East Perth cafe relocated its facilities to Fremantle as the head office moved to West Perth.
